Pre-register wireless computers, phones, and tablets

• Go to wireless.hms.harvard.edu from each device you will be using on HMS's wireless networks.

• Pre-registration will allow you to access both Harvard Secure and eduroam wireless networks.

Pre-register wired desktops and laptops

Vanderbilt Hall residents: Register all other devices (optional)

If you will be living in Vanderbilt Hall, you will need to set up smart devices, media players, gaming consoles, and SBCs like Raspberry Pi to access the HMS network.

• Once you arrive on campus, you can register these devices on https://mydevice.noc.med.harvard.edu/ (site is only reachable on campus or through VPN).

• If you would like to set these up ahead of time, contact the IT Service Desk to request assistance with this.

Only computers with an up-to-date operating system will be able to access the HMS network. If your computer’s operating system is out of date, you can contact the IT Service Desk for help upgrading.
